Overview
OneMarketData is looking for a Monitoring Engineer to support the reliability, stability, and performance of its financial technology and market data services. The role focuses on monitoring production systems, reviewing alerts and logs, identifying service issues, supporting incident response, and helping ensure smooth data delivery and customer-facing system operations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems, services, alerts, and data delivery workflows.
- Review logs and system behavior to identify potential issues.
- Investigate incidents and support root-cause analysis.
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate engineering or operations teams.
- Follow monitoring procedures and incident response workflows.
- Support service availability and reliability for financial data systems.
- Document issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
- Work with team members to improve monitoring quality and operational reliability.
- Help maintain smooth customer-facing service performance.
Requirements
- Experience in monitoring, NOC, technical support, service operations, or a similar technical role.
- Good understanding of Linux systems.
- Ability to read logs and identify possible causes of technical issues.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Responsible, hard-working, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Experience with AWS or cloud operations is a plus.
- Interest in financial data, market data, and technology services is a plus.
