Tether /Senior Backend Developer
Overview
Tether is hiring a Senior Backend Developer in Armenia for a remote full-time role. The position focuses on developing and maintaining backend components for Tether’s digital finance platform, improving core backend services written in Node.js, building new solutions that communicate with internal services through RPC calls, and writing complex database queries for compliance and financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the team developing Tether backend components.
- Improve existing core backend services written in Node.js.
- Implement new solutions that interact with different core services through RPC calls.
- Write complex database queries for compliance and financial purposes.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into practical backend architectures.
- Support development and maintenance of backend components across multiple services related to the platform.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working with JavaScript and Node.js.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience participating in the development of complex platforms.
- Good experience working with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
- Good understanding of security practices.
- Excellent English communication skills.
