Xometry /Case Manager
Overview
Xometry Europe is looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Operations Case Manager to support complex customer orders and supplier jobs in a remote environment. The role focuses on solving supply chain and manufacturing challenges for customized parts, improving on-time delivery, product quality, and customer satisfaction, while coordinating closely with customers, manufacturing partners, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Track and monitor multiple customer orders and supplier jobs at the same time.
- Drive improvements in on-time delivery, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with customers and manufacturing partners.
- Use manufacturing knowledge to support successful and timely production execution.
- Monitor supplier performance through assessments, schedule management, quality reviews, and corrective actions.
- Assess part rejections and coordinate resolutions with customers and suppliers.
- Manage customer complaints and replacement processes for returned products.
- Report order status, risks, escalations, and recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems and databases.
- Follow Quality Management System procedures and company technology platforms.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Care, Quality, Sales, Logistics, and Shipping teams.
- Participate in initiatives to simplify, improve, and automate operational processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain coordination, project management, production engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical manufacturing knowledge and ability to discuss engineering and production topics with customers and partners.
- Understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, 3D printing, casting, and secondary operations.
- Ability to read and discuss engineering drawings, GD&T, tolerances, manufacturing constraints, and inspection requirements.
- Experience identifying manufacturing risks, quality concerns, and production bottlenecks.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience managing complex and high-value manufacturing orders.
- Strong customer-facing communication and escalation management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently with strong attention to detail.
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members is a strong advantage.
