Emergn /Senior MEAN Developer
Overview
Emergn is hiring a Senior MEAN Developer for a fully remote full-time role in Armenia. Emergn is a technology and management consultancy focused on digital transformation, software development, product delivery, and modern ways of working. The role belongs to the JavaScript department and focuses on building modern applications with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, dynamic SQL, MEAN stack technologies, unit testing, planning, estimation, and collaboration with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern applications using Nest.js, PostgreSQL, and dynamic SQL.
- Participate in planning and estimation activities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features.
- Cover code with unit tests to maintain software quality.
- Maintain code integrity and organization that delivers real business value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with the MEAN stack.
- Strong proficiency in Angular, MongoDB, Node.js, and Express.js, or similar frameworks such as Nest.js and LoopBack.
- Experience with MongoDB and Angular is an advantage.
- Experience with asynchronous processing, background threads, concurrency handling, bottleneck analysis, and backend service performance optimization.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
